Hyundai продолжает работать над новым поколением среднеразмерного кроссовера Santa Fe. Сегодня в Сети появился новый набор фотографий тестового прототипа модели, который испытывают в зимних условиях. Как и прежде на его кузове большое количество маскировки, а также дополнительные фальш-панели. Однако на этих фото можно увидеть общую форму нового кроссовера.
Это не первые фотографии тестового прототипа Santa Fe, но это первый раз, когда автомобиль тестируется в зимних условиях. Большое количество маскировки на кузове свидетельствует о том, что автомобиль находится на достаточно ранней стадии разработки. Впрочем, несмотря на большое количество маскировки, фальш-панели другие средства, скрывающие дизайн, нельзя не отметить его квадратные формы.
Анализируя эти фотографии, можно прийти к выводу, что перед нами увеличенный KIA Soul. Та же плоская линия крыши, те же большие свесы, те же острые линии кузова. Все это также говорит о том, что в новом поколении автомобиль радикально изменится в плане внешнего дизайна. Колеса и вовсе кажутся маленькими для этой модели, но они точно не меньше 18 дюймов.
А вот о силовой части популярного в том числе и в России кроссовера в новом поколении пока ничего неизвестно. Известно, что Santa Fe будет делить свои основы с новым KIA Sorento, но на сколько сильно пока не понятно. Впрочем, мы предполагаем, что данный автомобиль будет разделять моторную гамму с Sorento. На данный момент в зависимости от рынка сбыта Santa Fe предлагается как с бензиновыми, так и с дизельными ДВС.

Hyundai is on a good track. For starters, the new ute looks more grown-up and handsome. The rear glass is more vertical, a boon to headroom for the sort-of-optional third-row seats (more on that later) and cargo space. With shorter overhangs, a longer wheelbase, greater length, and slightly more girth than the ’18 Santa Fe Sport, interior space is up, too. Hyundai increased visibility by employing what it claims is 41 percent more glass area than in the outgoing Santa Fe Sport to nurture the target markets of empty nesters and families moving up from a sedan.
