Kia Sorento: IPM Function

If washer switch (WasherSW) is ON at the status of IGN2 ON, Wiper turn ON. If washer switch is OFF, wiper turn ON for 2.5~3.8 seconds and then turn OFF.

If rear washer switch is ON at the status of IGN2 ON, Wiper turn ON. If rear washer switch is OFF, rear wiper turn ON for 2.5~3.8 seconds and then turn OFF.

If the vehicle speed is over 5 km/h & parking brake switch ON & IGN ON, the parking brake waring sound is ON.

If rear defogger switch turns ON after Alt L is ON while IGN1 is ON, turn the defogger relay output ON for 20min.

If rear defogger switch turns ON again while defogger relay output is ON, turn the defogger relay output OFF.

Also turn defogger output OFF in case of Alt L OFF or IGN1 OFF while the defogger relay output is ON.

Turn safety power window ECU output OFF after keeping safety power window ECU output for 30sec when IGN1 is OFF.

Turn safety power window ECU OFF immediately when opening the driver door or assist door within the condition (2) above.

If the key out and driver door is opened while the key or ACC or IGN ON and tail lamp switch ON, turn the tail lamp relay OFF automatically.

When turning tail lamp switch ON again from OFF after the automatic blackout, the tail lamp relay will be turned ON and Tail Lamp Auto Cut function will be cancelled.

If the value of Auto Light Signal is input value of LIGHT ON at the status of IGN1 ON and the auto light switch ON, turn the light ON in 2.5sec ± 100msec.

If the value of Auto Light Signal is LIGHT OFF and the auto light switch ON, turn the light OFF after 5sec.

The head lamp relay OFF immediately when pressing the door lock button twice with RKE(or FOB) while the head lamp is ON.

The tail lamp ON for 15 sec when pressing the door lock button twice with RKE(or FOB) while all doors are closed, locked, the key out and the head lamp switch (or auto light switch) is ON.

If the lock/unlock with RKE(or FOB) or IGN1 & head lamp switch (or auto light switch) OFF while tail lamp ON, the head lamp is OFF.

If 4 doors are closed & RKE(or FOB) unlocked or 4 doors are closed & KEY ON → OFF, turn the room lamp ON for 30 sec.

Turn the door unlock relay output ON when the knob is locked while the key IN and driver (or assist) door is opened.

Keep the central unlock output for 5 sec when receiving the crash signal while the key IN or ACC ON or IGN ON.

All door lock signal is output if shift lever is changed from P to R/N/D position while the IGN1 ON and all doors are closed.

All door unlock signal is output if shift lever is changed from R/N/D to P position while the IGN1 ON and all doors are closed.

If all door is locked with RKE(or FOB) and knob is locked while all door lock and key out, the vehicle enter the ARMWAIT for 30 sec.

IPM Description

IPM (Intelligent intergrated Platform Module) receives various input switch signals ling time and alarm fuctions for fr washer interlocking wiper, fr intermittent wiper, mist wiper, rea .

IPM Removal

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel (A). (Refer to Body — «Crash pad») .

Kia Sorento: User Settings Mode

On this mode, you can change setting of the doors, lamps, and so on.

Auto Door Lock (if equipped)

The auto door lock operation will be deactivated.

All doors will be automatically locked when the vehicle speed exceeds 9.3mph (15km/h).

All doors will be automatically locked if the automatic transaxle shift lever is shifted from the P (Park) position to the R (Reverse), N (Neutral), or D (Drive) position.

Auto Door Unlock (if equipped)

The auto door unlock operation will be canceled.

All doors will be automatically unlocked when the ignition key is removed from ignition switch or Engine Start/Stop Button is set to the OFF position.

All doors will be automatically unlocked if the automatic transaxle shift lever is shifted to the P (Park) position.

Two Press Unlock (if equipped)

The two press unlock function will be deactivated. Therefore, all doors will unlock if the door is unlocked.

The driver’s door will unlock if the door is unlocked. When the door is unlocked again within 4 seconds, all doors will unlock.

Horn Feedback (if equipped)

The Horn feedback operation will be deactivated.

After locking the door by pressing the lock button on the transmitter, if you press the lock button again within 4 seconds, the warning sound will operate once to indicate that all doors are locked.

Head Lamp Delay (if equipped) If this item is checked, the headlamp delay and headlamp welcome function will be activated.

Welcome Light (if equipped)

If this item is checked, the welcome light function of the pocket lamp will be activated.

Auto Triple Turn (One-touch triple turn signal) (if equipped)

If this item is checked, the lane change signals will blink 3 times when the turn signal lever is moved slightly.

Convert the temperature unit from °C to °F or from °F to °C.

If this item is checked, the welcome sound function will be activated.

Seat Easy Access (if equipped)

If this item is checked, the driver’s seat will automatically move forward or rearward for the driver to enter or exit the vehicle comfortably.

The average fuel economy will reset automatically when refueling.

The average fuel economy will not reset automatically whenever refueling.

On this mode, you can activate the service interval function with mileage (mi. or km) and period (months).

This mode displays the state of the A/V system.

Turn By Turn Mode (if equipped)

This mode displays the state of the navigation.

LCD Modes

Trip Computer This mode displays driving information like the tripmeter, fuel economy, and so on. Service This mode informs of service interval (mileage or days) and warning mess .

Warning Messages

Shift to «P» position (for smart key system and automatic transaxle) This warning message illuminates if you try to turn off the engine without the shift lever in P (Park) position. .

Key out киа соренто

Добрый день, как то раз сел аккумулятор, завёли с пускового устройства, но получилось завестись только ключом нажав на кнопку.
С тех пор машина не реагирует на брелок. Батарейку в брелке поменял, проверил мультиметром.
С электронного ключа открыть машину не могу, бесключевой доступ тоже не работает. На табло мигает KEY OUT. Авто видит электронный ключ и заводится только если подношу вплотную к кнопки. Официалы сказали, что аккумулятор в порядке, а к электрику большая очередь.

Подскажите пожалуйста, в чём может быть причина? Что можно попробовать самостоятельно?

Проблема с безключевым доступом

Доброго . Друзья , помогите плиз — буду очень благодарен.

Как бы я второй хозяин , примерно год ни каких проблем — машиной очень доволен . При покупке убрал один брелок , так и не пользовался им. В начале первый раз произошёл отказ дня три назад , нажимаю на кнопку в ручке — ноль эмоций , достал брелок — такая же история , походил вокруг , понажимал из разных положений — открылся — машина как всегда завелась без проблем . Пару дней всё ОК. Вчера опять такая история — уже ничего не помогло — открыл ключом , отключил сигналку вставив брелок в гнездо , вытащил брелок — пробую завезти — ноль . так и пришлось ехать с брелком в гнезде. Ну наверное батарейка — приехал — поменял батарейку — снова к машине — ноль — не открывается и не заводится. только с брелком в гнезде. Беру запасной брелок — такая же канитель — меняю и там батарейку — всё равно — только открываю ключом и завожусь с брелком в гнезде.
Очень прошу подсказать что и как. в чём проблема.

А такая хрень везде или только в одном месте, может какая глушилка на 433 мгц работает.
Антенны не причем, их на машине 6 шт: по одной антенне в ручках передних дверей, одна в районе селектора кпп, одна в районе подлокотника, одна в багажнике и одна под задним бампером. Отказать все сразу не могли. Здесь или брелок или сам модуль барахлит. Проверь предохранители в салоне: F11 — 7,5A, F2 — 10A, F33 — 10A, F27 — 10A, F26 — 15A.
Не мешает сканер подключить и почитать ошибки.
